An Introduction to the Wolds…

It is with pride that we introduce you to and share the qualities that make our team: Talented, resourceful, original, ever able to encounter and embrace new stylistic influences. They exude voracious enthusiasm and always have your requirements at the forefront of all they do.

The area is a living, working landscape that exudes a sense of harmony that has been built up over countless generations. Rich in heritage, the Cotswolds is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and it is here that we walk in the midst of 6,000 years worth of history. When in its fold we are embraced by all that is real, naturally beautiful and historic. It is tranquil, peaceful and unspoiled. Magnificent Cotswold stone manor houses, farmhouses and quaint cottages line the streets, highways and byways of this Quintessentially English Region. There is much to enjoy from admiring the local architecture to attending an open air theatre or a string quartets to be found playing in a local Free House. Sampling the local delicacies at a myriad of food feasts, festivals and village fetes that take place throughout the year is a must.  There are farm parks, visitor’s centres and museums. You will find exquisite churches and have your creative flair inspired by dry stone walls, flagstone, tile and well trodden wooden floors, as well as many a kitchen range, wood burning stove and in the winter, roaring open fires. Whilst here, you will be welcomed into a world of local dialect, mysteries, legends and curiosities; customs, traditions and fond memories of those who have come before. Friendships will have been made and seeds planted in relation to how you will  add a little of your visit into your everyday life when you return home. Once visited, you will want to visit again and again and….

Broadway – Broadway is the most idyllic of countryside haunts with an artistic edge that has inspired visitors, writers and artists alike for hundreds of years and is the ideal place to capture and nurture the inspiration for your own interior design. This beautiful and picturesque Cotswold village is full of stunning galleries covering modern, contemporary and fine art, along with boutiques, an award winning tea shop and a choice of exceptional hotels and guest houses in which to stay. Once a main coaching route from Worcester to London, it has the appeal today that it has always had for those who both live and visit here. No matter the time of year you are sure to be inspired by the natural beauty of the place and its people; just as we are sure that you will have been touched by its presence and will have gained inspiration for the future in relation to your home and lifestyle as a whole.
